Our Story
Wessex Counselling & Psychotherapy was formed in 1983 to offer professional and affordable psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy in Frome, Bath, Bristol, Street and surrounding areas. We are not able to offer home visits, but can offer sessions online via Zoom.
Our counselling service is accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). All our counsellors adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) Code of Ethics.
We are a formally-constituted, non-profit organisation — registered charity number 1056310 — with premises in Frome, Bath, Bristol, and Street. We are also a member of the National Counselling Network.
People come to us for counselling, psychotherapy and counselling training from all over south-west England.
