How It Works
Starting counselling is a brave step. Here's what to expect.

Email office@wessexcp.co.uk or call 01373 453355 to enquire about counselling. We are open for new referrals and also offer online counselling via Zoom.
Initial Appointment
First, we arrange for you to meet with one of our senior counsellors. This gives you a chance to explore why you got in touch — and to decide whether counselling or psychotherapy will help. The meeting lasts 50 minutes and there is a standard charge.
Matched Counselling
If counselling is the best way forward, we make every effort to match you with the professional counsellor who best suits your needs. You meet once a week for 50-minute sessions. This arrangement is open-ended and can continue for as long as you need and are able to come.

Young Adults Counselling

You-TH Space

External Supervision
Professional supervision for practising counsellors and psychotherapists who need a safe, boundaried space for reflective practice.
Employee Counselling (EAP)
Tailored employee assistance programmes for organisations, offering confidential counselling support for staff wellbeing.
Fees
There is a range of fees based on income, which will be explained clearly at your first meeting. We try to make your counselling as affordable as possible.
Some of our counsellors are counsellors in training — they work to exactly the same standards as our fully qualified counsellors.
A standard charge applies for the initial 50-minute appointment.
Accessibility
Our Frome and Bristol rooms have disabled access. Bath and Street rooms are up stairs.
We also offer online counselling via Zoom as a flexible and accessible option for anyone who needs it.
